Clothe-IT is the brain child of David Parker, a Detective who found that witnesses who could not remember sufficient facial details to produce an E-FIT facial likeness, were sometimes still able to produce a full length likeness which led to an identification. This makes Clothe-IT an important resource for identifying suspects.
Clothe-IT is an easy-to-use standalone program that allows the creation of full length, life-like images of suspects, including details of the build and the clothing worn when committing the crime. A face created using a facial identification program, such as E-FIT, can be added to a Clothe-IT™ image and automatically resized itself, to enhance the likeness. The complete image can be pasted into a crime scene photograph and released through the media to “jog the memory” of other possible eyewitnesses.
The Clothe-IT databases employ a wide range of clothing and accessories such as hats, weapons and most major world sports and fashion logos. Operators can also easily import their own choice of clothing items and accessories into Clothe-IT, thus allowing them to keep in step with local styles and current fashions.
